Chidinma Oyelaran

Partner · Kalamazoo

Chidinma opened the Kalamazoo office and handles most of the firm's child support and income questions.

She came to law from payroll accounting, so a stack of pay stubs, W-2s and business returns is where she's most at home. Parents hire her to set a first support order, to change one after a job loss or a raise, and to collect support that isn't being paid.

She lives in Portage, sings in a church choir and is slowly learning to sail on Gull Lake.

How Chidinma works

Chidinma runs the support numbers before the first hearing and sends them to you as one page, with each figure's source beside it.

If the other side's numbers are wrong, she shows the court where, with documents rather than argument.
