Lieke Brinkerhoff

Founding partner · Holland

Lieke started the firm in Holland after years of watching families spend their savings on arguments a written plan could have settled.

She handles divorces where a family business or a farm is part of what's being divided, and custody cases where one parent needs to move. Before family law, she worked as a court clerk, which is where she learned what judges actually read.

She grew up in Zeeland, speaks Dutch and Spanish, and spends summer weekends on the lakeshore with her two kids.

How Lieke works

Lieke writes every plan herself and reads it aloud with you at the second meeting, line by line, so nothing in it is a surprise later.

When a case might go to trial, she says so early and prepares from the first week, which is often what lets it settle.
